For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.

Psalm 139:13

Lord of all creation,

You have given life to all people, including those still in the womb. The Bible makes it clear that life begins at conception, for we were all sinful from the time our mothers conceived us (Psalm 51:5). You have made mankind in Your own image (Genesis 1:26-27), and Your hands have fashioned and made each person (Psalm 119:73). Forgive us, Lord, for devaluing life, especially life in the womb. It is a grievous sin that in the past 30 years we have killed over 60 million of our children, and we deserve Your judgment for this. Please end the practice of abortion in our country and across the world. Change the hearts of those who support abortion, grant success to pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations, and allow women who find themselves in crisis pregnancies to find encouragement and support to keep their babies rather than abort them. Grant forgiveness and peace of mind to women who have had an abortion and now regret their decision, for we know that You forgive all sins of those who believe in You. Let the Church reach out in love to women who face unexpected pregnancies, and grant courage to Christians to stand up against abortion. Please put an end to the abortion industry, and help us value and honor life at every stage.

Please bless the following pro-life ministries…

Please be with the following people…

In Your name I pray. Amen.

Side note: If you happen to find yourself in an unplanned pregnancy and need support, please visit the website LoveLine.com, a ministry run by Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood director who now works full-time to advocate for the pro-life movement. She also has a ministry for workers in the abortion industry who wish to get out. Visit And Then There Were None for more information.
