Matthew 28:19

Triune God,

You are one God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, each with His own function within the Godhead, yet none is greater or lesser than another. Lord, our human minds cannot comprehend this mystery. We can use analogies to help us explain this, but we will never fully understand the Trinity until we are perfected in heaven. But we believe from the Scriptures that all three Persons are active in our salvation. God the Father sent Jesus, the Son, to die for our sins, and the Holy Spirit brings us to faith. In Jesus’ earthly ministry all three Persons came together at His baptism when the Father spoke and the Spirit descended in the form of a dove. Jesus taught about the oneness He shared with the Father (John 10:30), taught often about the coming of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26), and commanded His disciples to baptize in the name of the Triune God. The Bible is quite clear in teaching the doctrine of the Trinity. We pray for those who do not have faith in the one true Triune God. Lord, this includes all other religions outside of Christianity, including Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and many others. Grant those who do not believe in You rightly to come to knowledge of Your truth that they may be saved. Give Christians opportunities to share their faith in the Triune God, that we may make disciples of all nations, knowing that You are with us always, to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20).
