Contest Time!

D6D0E6D9-2D42-41C8-9B10-620053AAF4EB

With all the excitement of new releases for the Sola Series, it’s easy for my first book to get lost in the shuffle! Six years ago this week I received a contract for Our Faith from A to Z, the children’s book that made me an author! But despite good sales for the book, it has relatively few reviews. Potential buyers often read reviews to help them make their final decision. So it’s time for another contest! Everyone who reviews Our Faith from A to Z will be entered into a drawing to receive a signed advance copy of Stand Alone! (Official launch date is Sept 23, but the winner of the contest will receive it before then!) You can leave a review on multiple sites for multiple entries into the drawing: CPH, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Goodreads. Once you’ve left a review, sign up via the contest form. Contest runs through Sunday, September 8, and the winner will be announced on Monday morning. Enter today! (And while you’re at it, leave a review for the Sola books as well! 🙂

Faith Alone Contest

Okay, Faith Alone fans! Now that the paperback is available both on Barnes and Noble and on Amazon (and ranked in the top 10 bestsellers for Christian Contemporary Fiction as of this morning) it’s time for a contest! Post a picture of your copy of the book (ebooks are fine, so long as the screen is visible enough to tell it’s Faith Alone) on Facebook and be sure to tag my personal or author account so I can enter you in the contest! You could win one of the two beautiful plaques pictured here, handmade by a talented local friend. One prize will be awarded for the most creative picture (as judged by my launch team members), and one will be a random drawing from all entries. The contest runs through Wednesday, May 15, and entrants may submit one picture a day through the submission period.

In the meantime, here’s what other readers are saying about Faith Alone:

This is a sweet Christian novel, full of realistic family drama. Faith Alone deals with controversial topics, but Meyer handles them well, and in a very faith-based manner. If you’re looking for a Christian book with good morals, this may be just what you need.
—Reader’s Favorite

Ruth has done it again! Faith Alone is the compelling sequel to Grace Alone… It will draw you in from the first page, and yet, you won’t want to see it end. This is a thought-provoking, must-read book for Christians of all ages.
—Kristen Whirrett, Lutheran blogger at Joyfully Thriving

Faith Alone is one of the most heart-stopping, ground-breaking, truth-telling books I’ve read in a long time.
—Kellyn Roth, Reveries Co. founder and manager

This second book in the series is just as compelling as the first. Ruth writes about topics that face families in the church today. She addresses the issues realistically, but caring and compassionately. Her writing stirs emotions the entire time. It is a book you won’t want to put down.

HAPPINESS JUST GOT COMPLICATED

Grace Neunaber has finally found happiness. After struggling for years as a single mother of four, she’s thrilled about her newfound faith and her marriage to a strong Christian man. But as David is added to their family of five, her enthusiasm is quickly dampened by her older children’s open hostility and resentment toward their new father.

For Grace’s daughter, Faith, having a principal for a step-dad is only one of the downsides. Her parents are nosy, restrictive, and most of all embarrassing. But Faith’s issues with her parents are quickly shoved aside when she’s faced with a decision that will change the course of her future.

Each member of the Neunaber family will have to rely on their faith in God if their strained relationships are going to knit them closer together instead of tear their family apart.

Faith Alone is now available for pre-order (Kindle version only)! Order today and your copy will be delivered to your device on Monday, April 22. Want a paperback copy instead? Mark your calendar and watch for future updates when it’s released on launch day. Three weeks and counting!

One Resolution I’ll Keep (and One I Might Not)

happy-year-3848864_1920

Hard to believe it’s New Year’s Eve again already! Did you keep your resolutions for 2018? Have you made new ones for 2019? I have two resolutions for the New Year. One is to declutter the house, which makes my kids laugh. But the other is far more pertinent to you, my friend. I resolve to publish at least three more novels in 2019, and more if possible. So how can you stay current with my updates? Sign up for my newsletter!

The newsletter is not the same thing as my blog. Whereas my blog is largely devotional and inspirational posts, the newsletter contains the latest news on my upcoming books, as well as occasional contests and giveaways, special offers, reader’s questions, and reviews on books I’m reading. I promise not to flood your inbox with updates from me. I’ll publish a newsletter at the beginning of each month, and occasionally a shorter update for each launch date, but that’s it. Sign up today so you can get January’s newsletter tomorrow! Happy New Year!
